09.00 – 10.00 "Synergy" meeting: Quick round up of max. 10 min each about the excursions we made together during the past semesters: Paris, Tunis, Musée Ariana/Geneva.

10.00 – 10.10 Coffee break

10.10 – 11.50 Presentation and discussion of the program for the excursion to Berlin in February 2015.

We will explore what kind of information is relevant to our own research and to the research project as a whole.

The following texts might be useful to read as a basis for our discussion. Everybody should have read them when we meet in Berlin:

Text and image: what material do we use in our research?
We would like to dedicate the second part of the day to the project participants and their research. Please prepare a short presentation (not a paper) of ca. 15 min. AND share with us until December 7th a limited amount of the material you will be talking about. A text, a number of pictures, definitions or web-sites should shed light on a specific, material-related challenge you are dealing with.
