Background

I am a biomedical engineer and completed my PhD at Aston University, UK, where I used multimodal EMG/EEG acquisitions to investigate changes in brain-to-muscle connectivity and muscle networks (synergies) following mechanical muscle stimulation.

Current project

I am currently studying EEG-based brain networks across vigilance states in patients with epilepsy and in animal models. I am also investigating the coupling between structural and functional networks in epilepsy and the relationship between brain networks during sleep and cognitive deficits.
