Background
I hold an integrated master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. I completed my master’s thesis in clinical neurosciences at the Lab of Medical Physics and Digital Innovation. Prior to beginning my PhD, I gained four years of industry experience as a test engineer.
Current project
My PhD project is part of the SNF-funded Ambizione grant of Dr. Nicolas Roehri on “Network analysis to predict patient eligibility for epilepsy surgery”. More specifically, I am validating high-density EEG source reconstructed signals against intracranial EEG during simultaneous recordings, and I aim to apply functional connectivity on both modalities while identifying predictive features for epilepsy surgery eligibility. My focus is on inverse solution methods, connectivity metrics and graph theory.
