June 28: lecture on microbiota as part of the next GCIR seminar
On the 28th of June 2023, Pr Mirko Trajkovski, Full Professor at the Department of Cell Physiology and Metabolism will give a lecture on microbiota as part of a seminar from the Geneva centre for inflammation.
His lecture is part of a programme of three lectures to be held on 28 June from 2 to 4 p.m. in the auditorium P. Boymond B02.2226, CMU.
His main interests are the causes and molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic diseases, primarily obesity and insulin resistance, and in particular the roles of the adipose tissue, the gut, the immune system, the bone and the microbiota in regulation of metabolism. More about his research here.
