Support research and biomedical innovation!

At the heart of international Geneva and Lake Geneva's 'Health Valley', the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva has a threefold mission: to teach, to research and to serve society through cutting-edge research projects.
The State provides the core funding for our activities by allocating a substantial budget for staffing, operations and infrastructure. However, every additional contribution helps push the boundaries of knowledge and accelerate the discovery of new therapies. With your support, we can act faster and with greater impact.
Your engagement enables us to:
-
support ambitious and innovative research projects
-
develop new diagnostics and therapies that change lives
-
strengthen scientific excellence in service of public health
We operate according to principles of excellence, transparency, and accountability toward our partners and donors. These commitments are formalized in the Faculty of Medicine’s Charter of Commitment to Donors, which ensures the rigorous and transparent use of the funds entrusted to us.
Together with our privileged partner, the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), we have defined strategic priorities and large-scale projects that address today’s major health challenges.
The Fondation privée des HUG and the Louis-Jeantet Foundation for Medicine work in close collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine to support key initiatives in medical research.
Join us in making a real difference. Together, we can strengthen the impact of research, inspire innovation, and transform health challenges into tangible progress for everyone.
