Niveettha has joined the DIP lab as a research assistant in September 2021. She coordinates the sleep project which aims at identifying the role of sleep disorders in the emergence of cognitive difficulties and psychiatric symptoms in 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. Alongside the research activity, she is involved in the cognitive evaluation of individuals with 22q11DS taking part in the ongoing longitudinal study.

In August 2021, Niveettha obtained her Master degree in Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Fribourg. She got familiar with the field of sleep research while pursuing both an internship and her Master thesis at the sleep laboratory of the University of Fribourg.
