2024 Calls for Collaborative Projects.
Many calls for collaborative projects in the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe” have recently opened or will open soon with submission deadlines in winter or spring 2024.

Swiss researchers can participate in all these calls with national funding provided by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) as a result of the third-country status of Switzerland in Horizon Europe.

The Biodiversa+ Partnerships is launching a call on “Nature-Based Solutions for biodiversity, human well-being and transformative change (BiodivNBS)”. The co-funded Biodiversa+ Partnership aims at supporting research on biodiversity to gain a better understanding of the tipping points, trade-offs and underlying mechanisms affecting nature-based solutions, and their successful implementation with respect to the benefits for nature, human well-being and societal transformation.

Driving Urban Transitions

The 2023 call “People-centred urban transformation” is launched by the Driving Urban Transitions to a Sustainable Future (DUT) Partnership. This co-funded partnership aims to support transnational research and/or innovation projects addressing urban challenges as a way of helping cities to transition towards a more sustainable economy and mode of functioning.

Clean Energy Transition Partnership

The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP) aims to support research and to empower the clean energy transition and contribute to the EU’s goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, by pooling national and regional RDTI funding for a broad variety of technologies and system solutions required to make the transition.
This 2nd cofunded CETPartnersip Joint Call 2023 is structured into 12 call modules aimed at different energy technologies and/or systems as well as both research and innovation- oriented approaches.
