I have a Biochemistry and Biophysics background and I am interested in cellular transport and self-organization. In 2017, I joined the Kaksonen group as a PhD student. My project was about how SH3 proteins mediate the assembly of actin regulators via their SH3 domains in budding yeast endocytosis. Now, as a postdoc I try to decipher the function of Bsp1, a protein that is both involved in yeast endocytosis and cytokinesis.
