I am a PhD candidate at Professor Andrea Samson’s (chEERS) lab at the University of Fribourg. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Hildesheim in Germany and my Master’s in Berne. During my Master, I worked on a project examining the impact of active exploration of a virtual environment on memory and immersion. My MA thesis dealt with the link between eye movements and visual memory. My current research topic focusses on social approach and emotion regulation in individuals with Williams syndrome, Autism spectrum disorder or general intellectual disabilities. One aim is to explore the possibilities of Virtual Reality for testing and interventions.
