Practical information for when you arrive in Geneva
How to reach Geneva
Public transport
The TPG - Transports Publics Genevois - runs various buses, trains, boats and trams.
The basic ticket for transportation is called «Billet Tout Genève zone 10», it costs 3 CHF and allows you to move freely within the whole canton of Geneva (zone 10). It is valid for 60 minutes and can be used for all buses, trams, and trains going from Geneva Cointrin (airport railway station) to Geneva Cornavin (main railway station). You can obtain this ticket from machines located at each bus stop (one machine is also located on the Arrivals level of the airport, in the baggage claim area just before the exit).
