Learning Assesment, Regulation and Differenciation

The research group Learning Assesment, Regulation and Dillerenciation is led by Prof. Lucie Mottier Lopez.

Research Fields

The different functions and dimensions of classroom assessment are studied on micro-contextual (classroom, groups, panels …) and meso-contextual levels (school, inter-schools, projects …). A special focus is put on the analysis of assessment practices of students’ learning and differentiated regulations in their authentic contexts, according to their sociocultural and institutional dimensions. Individual and collective judgment (social moderations), assessment tools, discourses, meanings, cultures, and phenomena linked to situated assessment practices are studied. Classroom assessment training and teachers’ professional development is also a field of scientific interest and EReD team interventions.
