The research group Conception Research Activity Training Work Action (CRAFT) is led by Prof. Marc Durand.

Research Fields

The research group Conception Research Activity Training Work Action (CRAFT) pursues two complementary goals:

  1. to carry out research dealing with adult education,
  2. to design devices and innovating systems of adult education and professional training.

It develops an "activity – oriented" approach which takes as scientific and training object the activity of the actors engaged in various social practices: professional, leisure, family, education, sport, art, etc. Specific research to each social practice are realized in a comparative orientation which aims on the one hand at identifying the specific and/or divided features of activity deployed in these various contexts, on the other hand to contribute to an integrated conception of adult education.
