ResearchHer research currently focuses on international trade and investment disputes with an environmental component, on international disputes involving energy and, more broadly on the international legal framework applicable to energy sources, products, and activities. ThesisHer PhD thesis analyses the way in which international law deals with the trade and environment nexus. It does so exploring how the relationship between international trade and environmental norms has evolved over time, from their origin up to the most recent developments in terms of treaty negotiations, dispute settlement, and soft law instruments, both at the international and regional level. Through this analysis, it further explores the reasons underlying such evolution as well as its relevance and impact. |
