Aline SCHLAEPFER
Docteure ès Lettres de l'Université de Genève (2012), Aline Schlaepfer a été assistante à l'Unité d'arabe pendant sa thèse, et visiting research student à la School of Oriental and African Studies de l'Université de Londres (2009). Une mobilité postdoctorale soutenue par le Fonds national suisse de la recherche scientifique (Advanced Postdoc.Mobility), l'a amenée à l'Université américaine de Beyrouth (2016) et à l'Université de Princeton (2017). Sa thèse a été publiée en 2016 chez Brill sous le titre Les intellectuels juifs de Bagdad. Discours et allégeances (1908-1951). Elle mène à présent un projet de recherche portant sur les mémoires des Ottomans dans les espaces arabes après la chute de l'Empire. Ses travaux portent sur l'histoire des juifs en terres musulmanes, le concept de "minorité" au Moyen-Orient et sur la question de la mémoire des Ottomans.
