National MD-PhD Fellowship granted to Fanny Amrein

Congratulations to Fanny Amrein for being awarded with a national MD-PhD Fellowship in line with her project «Deciphering the role of TIM-1 expressing B cells on anti-tumor immunity», which will be sponsored by the ISREC Foundation.

The Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (ASSM), with the support of associated faculties and private foundations, awards each year a limited number of competitive, individual MD-PhD grants to promising young physicians who wish to get a formal research training in natural sciences, in public health sciences, in clinical research or in biomedical ethics, in addition to their medical education. 

Fanny is part of Prof. Olivier Michielin's team and member of the Precision Oncology Center (COP), with regular interactions with the CRTOH.

This prestigious grant recognizes the quality of Fanny's work and the scientific impact of her project in the field of cancer research.
