GCIR Young Researcher Talk Award 2025 Hajar El Ahanidi

The Geneva Centre for Inflammation Research (GCIR) is delighted to announce that the GCIR Young Researcher Award 2025 has been presented to Dr Hajar El Ahanidi (UNIGE Faculty of Medicine, Camilla Jandus' Lab) during the GCIR Annual Symposium, held on 2 October 2025 at the Louis Jeantet Auditorium.

Dr El Ahanidi received the award for her outstanding short talk, “From gene signatures to spatial networks: unravelling drivers of bladder cancer progression.” Her presentation exemplified scientific excellence and innovation in translational research on inflammation.

The GCIR warmly congratulates all young researchers who presented their work at the symposium, including Dr Matthias Jarlborg, Raphaël Néré, and Dr Laure Garnier, whose contributions highlighted the breadth and quality of research being carried out within the University of Geneva community.

We thank all speakers and participants for making this year’s symposium a vibrant day of scientific exchange and collaboration.
