Presentation: I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Geneva, with a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from EPFL, where I focused on AI and data science applications in biomechanics. Previously, I co-founded a startup developing AI algorithms for posture and gait analysis to improve rehabilitation and prevention. My current research, part of the Metathesis project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, bridges the Data Mining and Machine Learning (DMML) group at the University of Applied Sciences in Geneva and the Kinesiology Lab at the University of Geneva. In this project, I focus on integrating AI and biomechanics to model pathological gait, supporting treatment selection for children with cerebral palsy. My research aims to replicate human locomotion from motion capture sequences using generative and imitation learning approaches to model gait within the physical constraints of human biomechanics.
