A new chassis for the T2K experiment

The DPNC, from the University of Geneva has proposed to design and build internally - relying on the efficiency and competence of its team: Mr Leuenberger and Mr Vassaux - a chassis that aims to "simulate" the support of the T2K ND280 detector that is installed in Japan (Tokai).

The initial goal was to pre-mount the new detectors for the CERN Prévessin upgrade (Platform Neutrino) to practice integration but also to commission it.

It turned out that this chassis became an essential tool to prove the feasibility of the whole of this Upgrade (response to security issues, training before final operations, calculation and management of services ....). It is now at CERN waiting for the first detector installations.
