Amélie Josselin-Leray

Amélie Josselin-Leray is an associate professor in Translation Studies and Linguistics at the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès, where she ran the Translation and Interpretation Department (CeTIM) from 2015 to 2020. She is in charge of the Translation, Interpretation and Linguistic Mediation Master’s program which is part of the EMT network. Within the research team CLLE (Cognition, Langues, Langage, Ergonomie), she is a member of the interdisciplinary subteam “Digital tools: A linguistic and cognitive approach”. Her research interests, which originally focused on lexicography, terminology and corpus linguistics, have shifted to the study of the translation process and, in particular, the use of traditional resources such as dictionaries and term banks and the use of translation technology – CAT tools and corpora – during the translating task. She also investigates the expert versus non-expert duality in collaborative lexicography.
