Julie Lemarié
Julie Lemarié is an associate professor in Cognitive Psychology and Ergonomics at the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. Her research works aim to understand how humans interact with multimedia information systems (containing text, pictures, videos, speech, etc.) in complex environments such as professional or learning situations. She studies how the interaction with these complex systems is modified by the effects of a double determination: the user’s characteristics (their expertise, the presence of a sensory impairment, for example) and the task features. Applications for her work mainly concern the design of digital learning or professional environments. She currently heads the Cognitive Psychology and Ergonomics Department.
