MCR Module on Child Labor and Education - March 7th

RIGHTS TO EDUCATION, CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IN EDUCATION, CHILD LABOUR AND THE RIGHT TO WORK BETWEEN FORMALIZATION AND HYBRIDIZATION.

While school enrollment is on the rise, the situation of working children continues to worsen worldwide and that despite the target 8.7 of the Sustainable Development Goals aim to eradicate all forms of child labor by 2025. Education policies remain much dissociated from labor policies and children continue to fall in the crack. How do we uphold the right to education? What are children rights in education? How to abolish child labor? At what cost? Do children have a right to work? What about their right at work? The Master of Advanced Studies in Children’s Rights #MCR put these questions forward during the next module on child labor and education that will start next week on Monday March 7th. We are looking forward to the outcomes of this next module!
