Fees
The registration fee for ISSAS is 1800.- CHF on average (slight changes depending on type of room chosen). The price includes registration, full board and accommodation, but not transportation to the venue. For those with financial difficulties, a few (partial) fee waivers are available. Apply for a waiver at the same time as you apply for a place at the summer school. However, to apply for a waiver, you must provide evidence that you have already obtained/been denied funding from other institutions or concrete proof that the rules of the relevant agencies will not allow you to apply yet. Therefore, if you intend to request a waiver during the school application, contact your funding agencies ASAP.

Transportation
The Château de Bossey is located in Bogis-Bossey, 20 km away from Geneva.
Geneva is easily accessible by plane and train:

From the Geneva airport you can take a train directly into the Geneva railway station (Cornavin), where you can take a regional train to Nyon. Fares and schedules are available on the following site (destination = Nyon): http://www.sbb.ch/.

From Nyon you have two options. The easiest and recommended one is to take a taxi directly to the Château. There are usually taxis outside the Nyon train station (the ride will be about 15 minutes and will cost around 40 CHF). A taxi can also be booked in advance with the company AAB Taxi (Tel: + 41 79 362 1111). They operate regularly with Château de Bossey for a fixed rate: CHF 100.- from Geneva airport or from Cornavin train station, and CHF 40.- from Nyon train station. Please, check beforehand if credit card payment is an option – there are no ATMs near the Château.

An alternative way to go from Nyon to the Château is to take the local bus (line 811, direction Gland > Nyon > Coppet) and then walk (20-30 mins). The bus stop to get off at is called “Céligny Village”. Once in Céligny walk in the direction of the townhall ("mairie" - look for the flags), towards the small roundabout at the end of the street, and turn right into Route de Coudres. Go straight on for a while, past the "Auberge de Céligny" and past the "Service du Feu", and when you arrive at the first major intersection, simply turn left following directions towards the "Institut oecuménique".
