A day visiting Montreux and surrounding areas!
Chillon Castle

Château de Chillon is Switzerland's most-visited historic monument. Perched on a rocky island on Lake Geneva near Montreux, it seamlessly blends formidable medieval defenses with the elegant residential architecture of the Counts of Savoy. Chillon Castle has stood proudly on its rocky island for nearly a thousand years.
Made famous by Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s novel “Julie, or the New Heloise” and Lord Byron’s poem “The Prisoner of Chillon”, this fortress is a true treasure from the past: a must-see.
Montreux Lakeside
The Montreux Lakeside is a spectacular 7-kilometer flower-lined promenade along Lake Geneva. Framed by palm trees, lush gardens, and snow-capped Alpine peaks, it features famous landmarks like the Freddie Mercury statue, art installations, and sweeping waterfront views leading all the way between Clarens to the historic Chillon Castle.
Montreux Jazz Festival

The Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the world's most famous music events, held annually over two weeks in July on the shores of Lake Geneva. Founded in 1967, it features a diverse lineup blending jazz, blues, rock, and pop, with as many free events as ticketed ones – and most importantly, a quintessential spark that makes it a festival like no other.
