This thesis aims to study how the ‘lesson study’ framework influences the professional practices of teachers and their mathematical knowledge. Within the ergonomic and didactical double approach, we aim to study the impact of five components (mediative, cognitive, personal, social and institutional) on teacher practices all along the process. In this research, we will also study the existing links between the ‘lesson study’ framework and student learning.
