I graduated from the University of Geneva in 2025 with a master’s degree in Neuroscience. My master’s thesis, supervised by Dr. Yoann Stussi and Prof. David Sander, aimed at investigating the enhancement of Pavlovian aversive conditioning by positive emotional stimuli using fMRI.
I am currently working as a PhD student and teaching assistant at the Laboratory for the study of Emotion Elicitation and Expression. My research project focuses on curiosity, and more specifically knowledge acquisition. Co-supervised by Prof. David Sander and Dr. Yoann Stussi, this project aims at investigating whether the brain processes knowledge acquisition as a rewarding experience, comparable to the anticipation and consumption of sensory and monetary rewards.
Research interests: emotion, cognitive sciences, learning, reward, curiosity, information-seeking
