I studied work and organizational psychology at the University of Neuchâtel (2014). I currently work as a psychologist at the Geneva Police. My field of competence ranges from teaching applied psychology and recruitment as well as emergency psychology, as part of the Geneva police forces and the police school.
I am currently doing a PhD under the supervision of Prof. David Sander. My research focuses on the study of emotions, emotional intelligence, and appraisal of threat and how they interact with police officers' decision making and use of force. We use virtual reality for the induction of emotion, the immersion into different situations, and the analysis of inputs, and use machine learning methods for analyzing multimodal measurements. The environment is developed by Dr. Yvain Tisserand.
