Projets Knowledge Transfer

-          Hackathon des HUG , 22-23 mars 2019, prix du « Coup de cœur » du hackathon des Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève (HUG) est le fruit d’une collaboration entre le Dr Cyril Sahyoun (médecin pédiatre urgentiste au HUG), Stephanie Mermet (infirmière hypnotherapeute au HUG), le laboratoire du professeur David Rudraufavec la participation de Yvain Tisserand et Christina Zavlanou (Faculté de psychologie et des sciences de l’éducation et Centre interfacultaire en sciences affectives, UNIGE) et le laboratoire du professeur Corrado Corradi dell’Acqua avec la participation de Giada Dirupo (Faculté de psychologie et des sciences de l’éducation, UNIGE).

Le prix "Coup de coeur" du hackathon des HUG a été decerné en mars 2019 au projet VRelief. Cet outil de réalité virtuelle vise à aider les enfants à mieux supporter les intervention anxiogènes et douloureuses dans les services d'urgence. Une équipe du CISA a participé au projet.

Artistes en résidence

-          Vincent Dubois, Résidence 2018/2019

The Genevan artist-sculptor Vincent Du Bois has been in residency in my laboratory since November 2018.

Three marble sculptures made during this residency will be presented at the Fondation de l'Hermitage as part of the exhibition "Shadows", June 28th – October 27th 2019. The sculptures, entitled "Catching Shadows" will manipulate the normal perspective view of a common object, thus initially preventing the viewer from immediately recognizing it for what it stands for: “un trompe-l'oeil”.

The film and installation „Subjective Hill“ (2019), directors: Yulia Lokshina und Angela Stiegler, cinematography: Julia Swoboda, sound design / music: Yorgia Karidi, SD, 34:10 min (languages: Englisch and Frensh mit engl. subtitles, shot in Geneva, Switzerland and Munich, Germany) is finished!

 

In SUBJECTIVE HILL a body cam traverses different rooms slipping into various roles space by space: From a police officer patrolling in a red light district of Geneva, intruding a private living room as a friend in the South of France to end up in an imagined theatre of war. Focussing on the influence of prior believes on our perception of reality this set up follows the logic of a Virtual Reality experiment at a laboratory of Centre for Affective Sciences in Geneva, where confrontational situations of police officers are simulated to examine human affective states. Within this documentary approach the body cam - a camera used in police context and worn right at the chest - is transferred into a narrative fictional context of a subjective gaze.
