Student Associations

The Association of Translation and Interpretation students (AETI) represents the university and extra-university interests of approximately 400 students. One of the main objectives of AETI is to go beyond national divides and foster contacts amongst students of varying mother-tongues and cultures.

The Association d’Interprètes et de Traducteurs (AIT) was founded in Geneva in 1945 by graduates of the École d’Interprètes de Genève, which later became the FTI. It unites over 100 professional translators and consecutive and simultaneous interpreters.
