David MUELLER
I earned my master’s degree with a focus on the semantics of the German particle überhaupt (≈even, at all, in general) in the context of purpose clauses (in order to…) from Humboldt University in Berlin. As of August 23, I am an assistant at the University of Geneva, where I teach semantics and pragmatics with Isabelle Charnavel. My interests include the study of scalar and discourse particles, modality, Negative Polarity Items (NPIs) and other things.
