Jing studied computational mathematics at Northeast Normal University from 2018 to 2021, and after graduating with a Master of Science, she started a PhD program there. She will join the University of Geneva in November 2025 under the supervision of Martin Jakob Gander.
Her main research interests focus on the study of domain decomposition methods for multi-physics coupling problems, such as heat transfer with quadratic interface jump conditions, heat transfer coupled via the Stefan-Boltzmann interface condition, etc. And more specifically, Jing studied the optimized Schwarz waveform relaxation algorithm for these nonlinear interface problems, including the construction of the algorithm, the analysis of algorithm convergence, and numerical experiments.
