After earning her degree in Languages & Literature from the University of Neuchâtel in 2001, Ms. Núria Sagarra Ballesteros embarked on a dynamic and international career spanning over 20 years as a Customer Operations Coordinator/Assistant within major international pharmaceutical companies. She provided scientific and administrative support in the fields of interventional cardiology, intensive care, respiratory issues, and renal insufficiency. During the past decade, Ms. Núria Sagarra Ballesteros had the opportunity to work in the public sector and with NGOs/startups, including:The Oncology Service Secretariat at CHUV as a records manager. NGOs/Non-profit organizations based in Geneva, with the aim of combating HIV (AIS) and/or improving the screening and diagnosis of childhood diseases in several countries in Sub-Saharan Africa (PATH, TIMCI Program) as a Project Assistant/Administrative Assistant. A biotech startup specializing in human genomics and long non-coding RNAs, with the goal of identifying and developing revolutionary therapies for serious health issues such as cardiovascular diseases and cancer, where she served as an Executive Assistant.
Since June 2023, Ms. Núria Sagarra Ballesteros has joined Professor I. Eckerle's group at CMU and CMVE at HUG as an 80% Administrative Clerk.
