Our research activities focus on clinical virology. Our areas of expertise include emerging viruses, respiratory viruses, and the human virome. Our investigations have contributed to clarifying the impact of SARS-CoV-2 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are studying the role of antiviral treatments in the context of influenza-related complications. We have developed a dedicated research program and specific expertise in the virome of hematopoietic transplant patients. Our strength lies in the ability to closely integrate clinical investigations with more fundamental virological research.
