Urinary tests

In the urine, it is possible to look for the presence of possible endocrine disrupters.

Urine is collected and stored, always anonymously, for future analysis. It is possible to determine exposure to a substance such as an endocrine disruptor (pesticides, phthalates, etc...) by measuring the amount found in urine. It is thus possible to relate a decrease in sperm quality to exposure to a risk factor.

As part of a biomonitoring study, the following products can be investigated in urine.

  • Phthalates
  • Bisphenol A
  • Cotinine / nicotine
