Jamieson Gordon Myles
Born in Toronto in 1986, Jamieson Gordon Myles obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science at the University of Lausanne in 2011. He then came to the University of Geneva where he undertook his graduate studies, receiving a Master of Arts in Economic and Social History in 2014. He has been a teaching and research assistant at the the Paul Bairoch Insitute of Economic History since December, 2014. Jamieson’s dissertation analyses the political economy of international trade finance between 1914 and 1929 (see dissertation summary below). During the 2018-2019 academic year, Jamieson will be on scientific leave. He has received a Doc. Mobility Fellowship from the SNSF and is visiting the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Harvard University.
