Tanja Schweinberger is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Starting from September 2023, she is also an Assistant Professor of International Political Economy at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. She completed her University of Geneva PhD on “The Return of International Politics – Cooperation and Conflict in U.S.-China Trading Relations” in September 2022. Her PhD examines cooperation and conflict in U.S.-Chinese trading relations. Tanja holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Konstanz, Germany. She was also a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science at the University of Zurich. Tanja’s research focusses on international trade cooperation, Chinese foreign economic policy and great power politics, as well as survey experiments and automated text analysis.
