Join us at SIH: Intellectual Property to explore best strategies to protect the future of business.
SIH: Intellectual Property will explore current issues and top priorities for academic researchers to protect intangible assets of their future business. We will host a roundtable on Intellectual Property with panelists from Katzarov as well as Unitec and FluoSphera, a spinoff of UNIGE, to discuss intellectual property aspects for a young entrepreneur and strategies for deep-tech startups. After a short reminder of different kind of IP protections and the rules of ownership at the University, we will talk about the importance – or not – to build a robust IP portfolio to launch a science-based startup and to raise investments. We will also discuss strategies to better protect your business / technology in order maximize your competitive advantage. In the second part of the workshop, you can ask questions directly to the panelists.
