Innosuisse start-up training - Business Concept
The Innosuisse start-up training programme helps you develop your business idea, set up your company and implement a strategy for growth. Our four training modules are led by experienced entrepreneurs and held all over Switzerland.
Here in Geneva, the Innosuisse training is run by the EPFL Innovation Park who is in charge to organise the training, via science2market. 2 sessions per year are organised – Spring and Fall.

BY ENTREPRENEURS, FOR ENTREPRENEURS
Are you looking to acquire business skills to expand your boundaries? Are you inspired to embrace the exhilarating career of creating or working for a start-up? In this hands-on “Business Concept” training, you will learn how to shape an idea into business, be pushed to go out of your comfort zone and get connected to our vast community of entrepreneurs, trainers, coaches and mentors.
3 MONTHS OF TRAINING
Get familiar with the major challenges of launching a start-up company and learn how to deal with them, through weekly evening sessions during one semester. A focus will be put on validating your business idea through intensive customer discovery process and interaction with industrial experts & coaches.
ONE-DAY BOOTCAMP
At the beginning of the training, all participants from all training cities gather in Lausanne for a full day of entrepreneurship immersion. This day includes pitching, forming teams around a project idea, challenging activities, and a lot of fun.
AWARD STUDY TRIP
Each semester, a jury panel awards the best project teams with a 2-day study trip in a European capital. The trip aims to discover the local entrepreneurship ecosystem and business opportunities, meet entrepreneurs, angel investors and visit incubators! Our last destinations were London and Berlin.
WHO CAN APPLY
This training is free of charge to anyone studying, working from a Swiss university regardless of the academic level or field of study. R&D workers are also welcome! Applications are subjected to selection based on motivation, ambition, and experience.
MENTORING
Each project has the opportunity to have a follow-up with renowed mentors during the training.
Actually you can choose from four separate training and development modules that will help you establish or develop your entrepreneurial skills with some 120 trainers boasting plenty of practical experience at your disposal. The four separate modules allow you to start at exactly the right place for your company.
