Céline Chatenoud is currently a professor in early childhood special education at the university of Geneva, after 10 years in the same position at the department of special teaching and education at the University of Quebec in Montreal. Through her teaching and research, she is trying to contribute to a better understanding about how children with disabilities can benefit from effective support and grow self-determined as valued community members. Child or parents’ exclusion mechanism in preschool and school context are also in the center of her interest as the quality of their services trajectory and life.
