[913] Hemodynamics

The Hemodynamics Research Group (GRH) was founded in 2008 (recognized by the University of Geneva in 2012) by Professor Karim Bendjelid, Attending Physician in Intensive Care (Geneva University Hospitals). The GRH aims to promote undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as applied research in hemodynamics. The GRH-UNIGE promotes animal and human research focused on physiology applied to clinical practice. The GRH-UNIGE's current area of work concerns the pathophysiology of cardiogenic shock and the early and efficient hemodynamic management of patients in shock. This work has required the development of new animal models and, most recently, the establishment of an innovative test bench.
