March 5: a lecture from Prof. Michael Zimmermann
On Wednesday 5th of March, Prof. Michael ZIMMERMANN, Molecular Systems Biology, EMBL, Germany, invited by Prof. Anne-Claude GAVIN will give a conference entitled "Identifying gut microbiota contributions to drug metabolism and carcinogen toxicity".
His lecture will take place on Wednesday 5th of March, 11am, in the auditorium J-L Reverdin B02.2526, CMU.
His laboratory aims at expanding data on microbial biotransformation to improve their understanding of how the gut microbiome contributes to the metabolism and toxicity of medical drugs, work towards structure-based models that predict biotransformation of chemicals, contribute to the functional annotation of microbiome sequencing data and better understand metabolic host-microbiota interactions.
