Joëlle van der Molen joined the DIP lab in 2016 as a master student. In her master thesis, she focused on the modeling of white matter development in 22q11.2 deletion syndrome (22q11.2DS) and typical developing individuals using longitudinal MRI diffusion data. Since 2018, she continued her work in the lab as a research assistant. Currently, her research aims at identifying the neurodevelopmental trajectories associated with preclinical stages of psychosis in the syndrome.
Joëlle obtained a bachelor in Psychology at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2016. During her bachelor, she simultaneously worked as a undergraduate research assistant in a behavioral & psychophysiological study investigating the role of emotional valence in memory consolidation and gained experience in recruitment, data collection and data analysis.
