WELCOME TO RE.A.D.S Unit

The READS unit of the Faculty of Medicine provides access to different types of readers and material of screening.
READS provide support for assay development in all types of formats: from single-point 96 and/or 384 well plates as well as data analysis.
Screening projects are welcome and a library of approximately 10,000 chemical compounds is available for high throughput screening (HTS).
All types of nonradioactive assays are feasible at the READS unit: single point of kinetic measurements for absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence, such as ELISA, Ca2+, ROS, luciferase activity, oxygen consumption etc .
The unit is accessible to researchers of the University of Geneva and external users (academia and start-ups).
