Ariane is a PhD student in Political Economy at the University of Geneva. She is interested in questions relative to agricultural policies and land related conflicts. The central article of her dissertation discusses the implication of rural land reform on local population income in the colonial framework. Her second co-authored article investigates the relation between gentrification and violence.
