Gabriel Leitner

Gabriel Leitner is a PhD candidate in Political Economy, focusing on the international monetary system of the 1930s and ‘40s. After having studied International Relations at the University of Geneva and Fudan University in Shanghai, he proceeded to obtain a Master’s degree in Political Economy at the University of Geneva. He is working on his PhD dissertation within the framework of the research project “Building a New World Economic Order. International monetary cooperation and the making of the Bretton Woods Agreement, 1931-1945”, directed by Professor Juan H. Flores and funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
