I have a background in Earth Science and GIS, with 5 years of international experience (UN Environment & Group on Earth Observations) dealing with geospatial data, Earth observations and open science/open knowledge. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) project “Earth from Base to Top” : https://data.snf.ch/grants/grant/213539.

My work mainly involves applying open GIS solutions to reconstruct the deep-time (hundreds of millions of years back) Earth history, from plate tectonic models to palaeogeography and beyond, such as long-term Earth surface dynamics.
