Dr. Benjamin Assouline, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Intensive Care Unit at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and a Privat-Docent at the University of Geneva. He holds FMH (Swiss Medical Association) certifications in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. His research focuses primarily on ECMO and short-term cardiopulmonary support through clinical and animal studies.

Throughout his career in intensive care, he has developed a keen interest in hemodynamics and optimizing ECMO management. His contributions in this field include peer-reviewed publications on ARDS, cardiogenic shock, and extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR).
