[1074] Biomechanics and Translational Research in Surgery

Our research group is dedicated to optimizing the effectiveness and safety of surgical devices and techniques throughout their entire life cycle. We employ an integrative translational research approach that spans the full continuum from preclinical robotic biomechanical testing to numerical simulation, including post-marketing surveillance. This approach aims to continuously validate, refine, and improve surgical devices. The development of innovations grounded in these research processes is one of our highest priorities.
