Using a rigorous five-step method, the team will screen studies published between 2004 and 2024 in nine languages to capture global perspectives. They will analyse how these tools support self-management, what barriers exist, and whether they are accessible and fair for all. The review will identify gaps to guide future innovation, ensuring that digital health solutions improve real-world care for everyone living with diabetes.
