·       Why is this PhD important for you (for your career, organization or country)

This Ph.D. program represents a crucial step in my career as a health science researcher in the face of the complexities and challenges that our world presents us with every day. In addition, professionalization and capacity building in Global Health are top priorities at my home institution in Mexico. This doctoral program will allow me to further contribute to the development of training capacities in Global Health in the areas of research, teaching, and networking in Mexico and other collaborating Latin American institutions.

·       Why did you choose our PhD?

This doctoral program is the perfect choice for people looking for the best match between flexibility and diversity. It requires a small number of on-site visits (crucial for people living outside Switzerland and cannot leave their place of residence due to work or personal constraints) while at the same offering a wide range of resources for expanding and strengthening skills in Global Health (courses, workshops, and activities) guided by renown teaching faculty, not only from UNIGE but also from all member Universities of the Swiss School of Public Health.
