A cover in Cell Metabolism
The laboratory of Prof. Charna Dibner, clinical affiliate in the Department of cell physiology and metabolism in collaboration with the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), Maastricht University, and the German Diabetes Center (DDZ) got an issue cover in the prestigious journal Cell Metabolism for their recent paper entitled "Natural daylight during office hours improves glucose control and whole-body substrate metabolism".
The article provides the first direct evidence of the beneficial effects of scheduled daylight as compared to artificial light in people with type 2 diabetes.
